Strawberry Tree (Arbutus) Honey

This rare, “bitter” arbutus honey is made by bees feeding on the flowers of the Arbutus Unedo tree, or Strawberry tree. It is known for its antioxidant and antibacterial properties as it is packed with polyphenols, all contributing to its unique taste. It comes in very limited quantities from a small family of beekeepers.
