Greek Pennyroyal

Organic and wild, this pennyroyal (Φλισκούνι – Mentha pulegium
) is hand picked in the mountains of Epirus, North West Greece. Pennyroyal can be used as a culinary herb. It has a subtle minty fragrance and can be used to give an edgy, fresh sweetness, reminiscent of spearmint, to your dishes. As an infusion, these pretty flowers have anti-inflammatory and anti-diarrheal properties, and are said to help with muscle spasms.
