Greek winter stews & soups cooking workshop

This February, let us warm you up by guiding you through some of our favourite winter recipes around Greece. Winter calls for nourishing soups, hearty dishes with pulses, and comforting stews with citrus. Of course, a dessert with seasonal fruit and warming spices to finish off your meal!

Learn how to use unusual ingredients like trahanas, master the art of slow-cooking, learn about the use of olive oil in the Greek kitchen, and how to swiftly turn dry beans into a wonderful dinner.

Hearty traditional Greek recipes that will brighten up our winter!

Suggested Menu
Trahanas soup
Leek and celery stew (prasoselino)
Butterbeans slowly cooked in tomato sauce (gigantes plaki)
Poached quince in red wine, served with Greek yoghurt & nuts

The workshop includes learning basic cooking skills, tasting ingredients and participating in every step, from prepping ingredients to cooking and plating. You will leave with a selection of the recipes and a 10% discount voucher for Oliveology’s products. And at the end of the workshop we all sit around the table and share the food we’ve made!
