Dinner Experience: A Winter Rural Feast

What do Greek villages taste like? What are the smells of winter on a Greek island? Can we bring the comforting, warming flavours and aromas of rural Greece to sparkly, vibrant London?

This winter, Oliveology and Nafsika Papacharalampous, along with Metaxa and Harry Gerakis invite you to a very special evening. Inspired by Nafsika’s ethnographic research on Greek cuisine and fascination with traditional rural Greek recipes, as well as Metaxa’s unique aromas, this dinner is an ode to the archetypical flavours of the Greek village with a few modern twists.

Join us as we share Metaxa cocktails created especially for the evening and savour several courses of our most beloved Greek foods, each with their own personal story.

What to expect:
You will be welcomed with a tasting of different olive oils and a selection of olives. Harry will prepare and present a unique Metaxa cocktail. Nafsika will then give a short talk on rural Greek cuisine, guiding you through the various courses that she’ll have cooked for you. Nafsika and Harry will join you again over dessert for another cocktail and you will get a chance to talk more about Greek food and spirits. In all, you will enjoy a 5-course dinner and two especially-created Metaxa cocktails.
