This week we celebrate both Shrove Tuesday (also known as pancake day) and Valentine’s Day. So today’s recipe is a delicious pancake filling that also makes for a wonderful Valentine’s Day breakfast, along with some crusty bread or porridge and a cup of tea or coffee. It’s a very special fruit and nut ‘butter’ with honey and molasses. It is an absolutely delicious smooth ‘butter’ with tasting notes of nuts and honey and aromas of cloves and summer fruit.
