Nerantzi Malagousia

The Nerantzi Domaine winery is nestled in the foothills of Mount Menoikio, an area dotted with ancient artefacts buried in calcareous, sandy loam soils. Surrounded by five mountains and close to the border of the Macedonian and Thracian Greek districts, the vines benefit from the irrigating effect of the river Strymon. Their full bodied Malagousia demonstrates intense stone fruit aromas, such as melon, nectarine and peach, as well as exotic fruit nuances like lychee and pineapple with hints of honeysuckle. On the palate, it is round and well balanced with fresh, yet ripe fruit flavours, good acidity and a long finish. Pairs beautifully with roasted vegetables or chicken, soft white cheeses, pasta salads, tiger prawns, and halibut.
