Aivalis Nemea Αgiorgitiko

This delicious red, from Aivalis Winery in Nemea in the Peloponnese, is made from 100% Agiorgitiko grapes and aged in oak barrels for 18 months. This wine presents complex aromas of plum, cherry, black pepper, cloves, vanilla and a smokey oak finish. Robust in the mouth with well-worked moderate tannins and balanced acidity. Cherry, plum, and toast dominate while an intensely spicy sense is accompanied by bitter chocolate in the long-lasting aftertaste. Pairs perfectly with beef, lamb, and mature yellow cheeses.
