Organic and wild, this sage (Salvia fruiticosa) is hand picked in the mountains of Epirus, North West Greece. It is wonderful sprinkled over roast pork, fish or vegetables, imparting a savoury, peppery flavour. As a herbal infusion, it is an astringent, antiseptic tonic herb, high in antioxidants, with a camphor-like aroma.
