Greek Bay Leaves
Organic and wild, these bay leaves (Laurus nobilis) are hand picked in the mountains of Epirus, North West Greece. Bay leaves are widely used in Greek cuisine. They act as a preservative but also add complex, herbal, slightly floral notes to sauces and stews. They’re perfect in stocks, or for infusing milk for béchamel sauce. They can even be used to smoke chicken or salmon.
