Greek bay leaves
Organic and wild, hand picked, Greek bay leaves (Laurus Nobilis) from the mountains of Epirus, North West Greece.
Bay leaves are used in most Greek dishes. They act as a preservative but also give a unique, wonderful aroma to your dishes. Bay leaves add complex herbal, slightly floral notes to sauces and stews. Use them in stocks, or to infuse milk for your béchamel sauce. You can even use them to smoke chicken or salmon.
