Oliveology’s Gastronomic Sailing Holiday – Spring & Summer 2020

Oliveology’s Gastronomic Sailing Experience

From Kefalonia and all around the Ionian islands (Lefkas – Kastos – Ithaca – Fiskardo – Kefalonia – Meganisi)

Enjoy the deep blue Greek sea and unexplored island corners. Savour local fresh produce, artisan cheese, and wine and learn about the unique terroir of the Ionian islands. Taste Oliveology’s organic ingredients and cold pressed extra virgin olive oil. You will be accompanied by Lida or Nafsika, members of the Oliveology team.

During Oliveology’s Gastronomic Sailing Trip, you will wake up to a delicious breakfast -think Greek yogurt, honey and fresh fruit, freshly baked bread from the island bakery, artisan cheese, and home made jams. You will enjoy the island sea and a culinary activity every day, be it learning how to make your own stuffed vegetables, meeting local cheese producers and wine makers, visiting farmers’ markets and shopping for local produce, or even fishing yourself if you wish. Or how about learning basic sailing skills. And of course enjoy al fresco lunches with vibrant salads with grains and pulses, fresh vegetables herbs and extra virgin olive oil, all freshly prepared on board. Savour vegetarian Greek traditional dishes such as stuffed tomatoes and peppers.

EY+Sailing:
EY+ was created by Panos and Elias, who wanted to share with their guests their experiences and passion for sailing in Greece. They have been sailing since 2009 in the Ionian Sea, Gulf of Patras and Gulf of Korinth, exploring Greek island culture. EY+ takes great care in social and environmental responsibility. All of their partners are local (cleaning services, maintenance, suppliers). When travelling, sails are used as much as possible, therefore moving with zero fuel and zero emissions. Solar panels are used to generate electricity. Guests are encouraged not to waste fresh water and use sea water whenever possible (for example in cleaning dishes). Of course, the preservation of marine life is of the highest priority and guests are inspired to admire yet respect nature.

Dietary requirements:
All menus are finalised one month before the departure date. Please contact us directly with any dietary requirements and we will do our best to accommodate you.
As the kitchen on the yacht is shared, we cannot guarantee an allergy-free environment.

Cancellation policy:
Please be advised that due to nature of the experience, there will be no refunds or cancellations. So please ensure you will be able to attend before registering. Of course, you have the option to give your ticket to a friend or family member.
