Organic Throuba Olives
Throuba olives are exclusively grown and produced on Thassos Island in the North of Greece where they hold P.D.O status. They are unique for ripening naturally on the tree. Harvested in winter, they need little processing and are medium-sized, wrinkled, and dry. Their distinct bitter-sweet taste and low acidity make them a versatile table olive. Remarkably, they can be eaten straight from the tree as they lose bitterness upon ripening.
