3-stars! Plain Kalamata Olives
⭐These are plump, juicy and firm-textured, with a briny saltiness that makes them very moreish. The olive oil complements their earthy taste nicely and is clearly of good quality. On the palate there’s a pleasing astringency that gives them a good kick that lingers on and on.
⭐These are wonderfully plump and glossy Kalamata olives. The marinade has a gentle, sound aroma with good olive oil at base.
⭐They are fleshy, lightly crunchy, yet tender and juicy – just the perfect texture, allied to wonderfully sound, gently saline and
light tangy taste.
⭐They delivered a rich, savoury flavour, with a pleasant tang. A beautiful product.
⭐Sweet, plump and juicy bursting with flavours, they are very tender and soft. This tastes like a good quality product.
2-stars! 22°C Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
⭐Unexpected and delightful.
⭐This oil has fresh, grassy spring-like aromas and a smooth, delicate vegetal flavour that rapidly builds into a punchy spike of pepper. The oil then mellows to a gentle warmth and long finish.
⭐This pretty, light coloured oil promised deep grassy notes on the nose. These were followed up in the tasting with aplomb, giving a strong sense of the olive groves. This gives way to a satisfying heat. A distinctive and delightful product.
1-star! 21°C Olive Oil with Walnuts, Fennel, Rosemary & Oregano
⭐Certainly a unique product which has great potential.
⭐We loved the sweet aroma of fennel from this oil as well as its light, clear, golden colour.
⭐The herbaceous notes of the rosemary and oregano and almost menthol character of the fennel are very prominent.
1-star! Ergani Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
⭐The lovely clean, vegetal smell of this oil had a cut-grass freshness. On tasting the peppery note was gentle and mild while still imbuing it with personality.
⭐Lovely gentle oil with a hint of pepper on the finish and generally very well balanced.
1-star! Wild Flower Honey
⭐This is a rich, amber, glossy honey with a pungent floral nose that carries through on the palate with a creamy, buttery mouthfeel.
⭐This honey has a rich caramel colour with a glossy texture. It has soft floral and citrus notes and is not oversweet.
⭐A versatile honey and can be used in many ways.
